The following are some of the features of our standard Continuum Server service:

• Your off-site server backups are stored in a SAS70 Type-II Certified, “Super Node” data center. The same data center used by Verizon & AT&T for 911 call routing.
• HIPAA & HiTech compliant
• Carceron data centers meet HIPAA / HiTech infrastructure requirements
• All backups are encrypted in transit from your location to the data center
• Server backups are archived in the off-site data center for 1 month (longer archival periods are available upon request).
• Advanced deduplication technology reduces backup file size by up to 250x, allowing you to store more data off-site for less cost.
• Carceron monitors and remediates any failed backup jobs on a daily basis
• Compatible with Hyper-V, VMWare, Microsoft Exchange & Microsoft SQL

Continuum Cloud Restore

Continuum’s server disaster recovery add-on service is for businesses that need to have their servers restored to an operational state fast, no matter the disaster. Key features of the cloud fail-over option include:

• Off-site backups of your servers on the Continuum ServerTM service can be quickly turned into live virtual servers for off site disaster recovery and fail-over, generally within 1 business day.  (Restore times vary by server)
• Example: If you had the Continuum Cloud fail-over option and your server had a catastrophic hardware failure or a disgruntled employee stole your server(s), Carceron would spin-up a virtualized version of those server(s) in the off-site data center, enabling operations based on that server to resume.
• Increased backup frequency over the standard Continuum ServerTM service

Continuum is available anywhere in the United States with a business class Internet connection.  Backup speed and frequency is dependant upon several factors on the network and is subject to change.
