Carceron Online Backup

Backup mission critical files to a secure off-site backup server over the Internet. This is a great backup solution to ensure that mission critical files are backed up on a daily basis to a secure off-site location and is the first step towards enacting a disaster recovery plan.

• Backup open files (files in use)
• Compliant with HIPAA, GLB, SOX and SEC / NASD
  • Secure data transfer using 128-bit SSL encryption
  • Encrypted storage, prevents tampering, alterations or unauthorized access
  • Access is date and time stamped by each user
• Automatic or Scheduled Backups: can backup automatically when a PC is idle and/or on a set schedule
• Version (snapshot) Support: users can restore from multiple file versions up to 30 days in the past
• Backup servers are in a highly redundant data center (14x redundant power, seismic bracing, redundant Internet connections)

Carceron Online Backup requires that the PCs or servers to be backed up to have a connection to the Internet with a minimum upload speed of 256k.

Carceron QSR Backup (discontinued as of January 1, 2011)

This service is no longer offered for new customers and will be discontinued for existing customers on July 1st, 2011.

Carceron is completing the final stages of a pilot off site backup service that we have called Continuum. More information will be available soon, so check back here often for more information.
